1)Chuche is a idealisim similar to Marxisim and Leninism. In that it is a comunist ideology and that it is the cornerstone for party construction, party works, and goverment operations. Chuche is referred to as "The unitarian ideology" or as "the monolithic ideology of the party". This ideology was created by Kim ll Sung.
2)I think that it is just like the same ideology that Soviet Russia had. It would claim that the suffering struggled by the people was for the greater good of the country. Though al lit did was it put all of the power into the hands of the goverment instead of the masses who are goverened.
3)North Korea believes that only their leader Kim ll Sung's ideology is supreme above al others. And that No oneelses even comes close to it. But here in the United States we believe that most people have their own idea and we try to find a common ground where all partieds can agree. though it seems pretty one sided at times.
1. Chuche is like Marxism and Leninism but it's more about independence. It promotes national pride and focuses on power for one leader. It makes an economy independent. This ideology was created by Kim Il Sung Chuui.
2. I think the purpose of this ideology is to manipulate the society and promote the greatness of the ones who have power. It basically blinds the population from the truth and develops more pride and support for the actions of the government.
3. In North Korea, everything is for the one leader, and there is nothing more right or great than what that leader does or says. The U.S. is completely different since we have freedom to do many things, and our opinions are not all based on a leader but more based on what we see and experience. We do not follow a leader with such pride and support, but instead there would be many objections and disagreements.

1) Chuche is a mix of Marxism and Leninism. It was created by Kim II Sung. It is based on communism. He believed that country should be self sufficient to help thier country and no one elses. He teaches people to be loyal to thier country. He tells them to sacrifice, and be united.
2) I think they make things this way to make so that people will not try to question why they need to work so hard. They want people to work together and be loyal to their country so that they won't try to make change. In all it makes their lives easier to have everyone else to the hard the work for very little.
3) The US is different because they don't make people think that they have to work together. They make it ao whatever someone wants to do they can do for themselves. They let people choose what they want their life to be like for they most part anyways. The US lets people think for themselves, while North Korea gives people guidelines to live by.

Chuch'e, founded by Kim II Sung Chuui, is an ideology based on Marxism and Leninism. Known as the 'unitarian ideology' it is very communist based and emphasizes self-reliance, sacrifice, austerity, unity, dedication, and patriotism.
An ideology like Chuch'e is like propaganda. It's purpose is to manipulate one into thinking something that may not necessarily be true for personal gain. They have hypnotised society into thinking that they are working hard for the betterment of the nation as a whole when really they are just working for the government and not receiving what they deserve in return.
In North Korea, all of society follows a very strict way of life with no questions or comments asked or said. This strict lifestyle comes from one man who governs the nation by himself, so what he thinks is right is the law. Here in the United States, everyone can usually live their life how they please. The government gives us guidelines based upon certain universal moral beliefs and standards. Furthermore, the government is not just one man's ideology, it's the well thought out morals and principles of several citizens throughout the nation broken down into 3 equally important sections.

“Chuche” is an ideology that is based upon Marxism and Leninism and focuses on the construction of parties, how they work and how the government works. Created by Kim Il Sung Chuui, the ideals of “Chuche” is communistic and it promotes self reliance, isolation, sacrifice, unity, patriotism, strictness and alertness.
I think the purpose for this ideology is to isolate the country from others affairs and becoming independent so that it does not get into wars, fights and other business with foreign countries. Yet, it also turns the society it has into brainwashed zombie slaves that end up blind with faith for their leader and country. It’s austerity forces people to be one way so that they are forced to sacrifice their identity and power as an individual and forced to be patriotic and gung-ho for their country in order to better it. Since most technological advancements are derived from other countries borrowing ideas, technology and materials it may affect the population of a country by causing its villagers, working force, etc… to become wrought with disease and with no import of raw materials to build things to help them it may cause the population to die off because the country may not have enough resources to make cures for the illnesses. Also, the population may not hit very high since the country is completely isolated and needs to sustain its population with what ever it grows by itself. So I believe that this ideology causes the population to be quite small.
The U.S. ideology is based solely on the individual. One vote one mind, different people’s American dream, if you work hard you will rise up, etc… But with the Chuche ideal is focuses more on the “us” factor, something like a group of ants working towards a singular goal that the over mind says to do. So in a sense here in the U.S. of A we have more freedom to do things on what we want whereas over there in North Korea it is more based on strictness of belief and to be one united group.

#1 In some context’s “chuche” has a similar definition to nationalism- intense pride for your own country, like patriotism except the next level up. It also describes national worth and self-pride. It’s how North Koreans are taught to view through the world, like “chuche” is their lens to look at the rest of the world, and North Korea through. It only represents “positive” aspects of North Korea and presents its people with an intense admiration for their country. President Kim Il-song created it and is similar in size and indoctrination to that of a widely believed religion.
#2 I think the purpose of an ideology like “chuche” is to keep everybody in the country happy and almost sedated- not literally sedated but in a nice cushiony bed of nationalism that serves to keep them all looking at their president as a great, powerful, and fantastic leader. It turns the population of a country in the same direction, they all believe the same things and have the same, or similar, moral values. I don’t think it’s exactly the same but they are all leaning in the same direction- and I think that’s what the goal of the ideology is, is to keep everybody happy.
#3 The ideology of North Korea is, I think, based more on everybody being as one whole country, everybody believing in the same thing and like I said before going in the same direction. Plus, I don’t think the United States has an ideology, I think everybody is going in one million different directions that there is no room for people to implement a solid structure of ideas, unless it could be something like everybody is on their own. North Korea has a lot more invested in national pride and making sure that their citizens don’t stop believing in their power, while the United States does have a high level of nationalism, I don’t think it is harnessed as it is in North Korea, also there isn’t as much propaganda forcing us in one direction. The whole country doesn’t look up to President Bush as they do in North Korea with their leader.

1. Chuche is a ideology created by kim II sung. supporting party construction, party works, and government operations its ideology is simular to marxism-leninism. meaning " the independent stance of rejecting dependence on others and of using one's own power, beliving in one strength and displaying the revoluntary spirt of self reliance. Chuche is also based on the idea of communisim.
2. i think the idea of chuche is to have a scoiety were they present it as if everyone is equal and independent but later came to be a society like communisim to with this aspartion where there is is in fact a leader of people and starts to regulate the actions of people rather than them being independent as they once presented it
3.In the united states ideology there is a
much freedom and many ideas to view with us having the right to vote and each person having there own ideas but in north korea there is one leader in which all the people follow because it is presneted in a way to where thats is the only idea they know

1. I wasn't here for the assignment, but I looked up "Chuche" and "North Korea" on google to figure out what it was. From what I've read it's a communist-influenced idea developed by Kim Il Sung. For North Koreans, it means "national identity, self-reliance, national pride, or national assertiveness," but it is very similar to Marxism. It's a social construct that focuses on similar things as Marx or Lenin did.
2. It is obviously a form of social and political manipulation on the part of Korean leaders. Any ideology that has an almost if not sincerely religious in its following, followed fervently by its citizens and pushed heavily by its government- well, when HASN'T it been a way to control things? Whether this is good or bad comes from what the government does with its power over its people.
3. I think the difference between the US and North Korea is not as large as people would like to think. I've glanced over some blogs and seen "freedom," said a few times, but we are really pushed in a similar direction, with a different set of rhetoric. It's semantics. The biggest difference is that more people from the United States just don't buy into it.

#1 Chuche is an idealism which is based on ONE leader and also dictatorship. There is just one party which supports the leader. I also think this party is nothing different than the politicians put together who are willing to follow their leader no matter what happens.
It was claimed that the Chuche system is based on Marxism/Leninism but Chuche represents more the dictatorship of one single person and not a ruling communist party.
The workers are not free and don't have all the rights that the Marxism/Leninism promises. The creator of that ideology is Kim ll Sung.
#2 The purpose of Chuche is having a country ruled by a dictator. Chuche is full of propaganda which makes the people believe even the most ridiculous things. Chuche makes the leader look like a god or at least the best human of the whole world. But the people of North Korea suffer because they are not free. Chuche ideology forces them to work for the dictator and they cannot requestion or criticize the government.
#3 The North Korean ideology is affected by the thought that their leader is the best.
The US ideology is affected by the thought that democracy and liberty are the best ways of life. Although some US citizens might think their country is the best country in the world, they don't believe in dictators. Also the North Korean ideology is based on a strong army.
The US actually don't have to fear that someone invaded their country and they see themselves as a 'peace force.
Chuch'e is an ideology created by Kim Il Sung Chuui. The roots of it comes from Marxism and Leninism. Just like Leninism is a modified version of Marxism, Chuch'e is a mix/modified version of both of them. It is a "encyclopedic thought which provides a complete answer to any questions that arises in the struggle for national liberation and class emancipation, in the building of socialism and communism" - in other words, it is just a collection of lies and gibberish for people to be believe in and become brainwashed like in USSR and other communist countries.
The purpose is to 'advertise' communism - show people what it is, why is it created and why they should follow it. Everybody wants changes so once somebody writes another Communist Manifesto about how good their lives will be, there is a big chance it will be supported. The purpose of it is to explain the greatness of the leader. Of course, on one hand, if the country has people that are blinded by lies and that treat their leader as a God is a bad thing; but on the other hand, Communist countries are the most united and supporting countries in the world - sure they are blinded, but they have a lot of pride for their country which is always good and it is something that many countries lack.
The difference is simply huge. I can't even find any similiarities - in North Korea, there is one leader-dictator who is the only one who controls the country and does whatever he wants to because nobody in the country can say "no" to him; people working all their lives and living poor; there is absolutely no freedom for people. USA is a complete opposite. Just like it says in the national anthem - "... land of free" - it is a free country where everyone can say whatever he wants and feels about our government or president and he is not going to get killed for that; there are so many opportunities for every person; it is a democracy - "rule by the people, and even though it is far from being truth, it is still somewhat true. These two countries are complete opposites of each other in government, people and everything else. The only positive thing about N.Korean government is that people are really prideful of their country and that they are more united - team work and not just individual.

1. Chuch'e is a stated ideology in North Korea and there is a political system based on it. Chich'e means "The independent stance of rejecting dependence on others and of using one's own powers, believing in owns strength and displaying the revolutionary spirit of self realience. Kim Il Sung was the creator of this idea.
2. I think that the purpose of this Idea is to convince people that what they are doing the right thing..and the way that they are saying is the right one and the right way to to have a better and successful country. The purpose is to keep people under control.
3.This is different from the US because in North Korea, people are "under control" I would say. And in the US we have more liberty to make and build our own life's' the way that we want either working hard or not we live by what we believe, they live by what they are told.
1. Chuch'e is based off of Marxist and Lenin-based ideology, although it is more leader-driven than other communist countries would have liked to have admitted. It was created by Kim II Sung. The N. Korean leaders act as strong father-figures in chuch'e ideology. Chuch'e is the basis for the general functions of N. Korean politics, government and rule. It also vaules independence over dependence for an individual citizen, as a general rule.
2. This seemed to eventually appeal to the citizens of N. Korea because Kim II Sung, with time, took a father-figure approach to controlling. He did this by suggesting that an individual should take Marxist ideas and convert them to fit N. Korea more appropriately. The idea of taking responsibility for oneself can be seen with the copius amounts of volunteers in N. Korea, cleaning the streets and perfecting roadways, etc. This ideaology, though, glorifies it's leader, and almost looks at him as a God. This is a product of excessive propaganda within North Korea.
3. US ideology is a bit more lax, although we have our 'proud to be an American' crowd, mostly stationed in the midwest or Iraq, US citizens are more willing to openly hate aspects of our government and litter our roadways, spit on them, and dump tons of pollution into the air. That's what Americans do best. So, all-in-all, North Koreans are a lot more controlled in a very, very superficial sense. Americans are controlled in some ways, but are a bit more kooky and willing to be rebels. This is mostly because of the lack of propaganda.

1. Chuch'e is claimed as the "present-day marxismLeninism" or the "unitary ideology". This ideology was created by Kim II Sung Chuui. It is said that this is the "basic cornerstone of party, party works, and government operation. It is a communist ideology.
2. I think this ideology was made so the people in the society wont question whats going on. Try to make everyone feel safe and make the people seem something else rather then the truth. This effects the people in the country because if something bad happens, the people wont rally know about it because the truth won't be fully told to them and will be kind of hidden.
3. North Korea thinks that the ideology is the top and correct ideology, "chuch'e ideology as the only correct guiding ideology in their own ongoing revolutionary movement". I also feel like in Korea thet really base everything as on one, like they have one leader and believe in one thing.

1. The tern “Chuche” is a word/term that represents a form of government. This form of government because of Kim II Sung Chuui. Because of that, it is called Kim II Sung-ism. This ideology is a government operation, party works, and party construction. Chuche is similar to Marxism/Communism. With that, it is considered as “the present-day MarxismLeninism.”
2. This ideology, because created by Kim II sung Chuui, is meant to look like the best form of ideology. This form of ideology is designed to “inspire national pride and identity and mold national consciousness into a potential powerful focus for internal solidarity on Kim and the KWP.” That means that everything is pointed at Kim and him looking like a great leader that is doing everything to help the country and making it look wonderful. With this ideology, they are rejecting independence, and want to be viewed as a country that can sustain itself in every department; economic, etc.. Because of that, it made the country self- reliant and it; it could only rely on domestic resources. There form of government has formed a bond between them to Soviet Union and China.
3. This is different than the United States form of government in many ways. The United States government is open to a lot of countries. We want to be self-reliant, but we are open to other countries to look universal and a peace country. This form of government also makes this country look communist/Marxist. From the past, the United States seems to be opposed to that idea. The United States is all about looking like a land of freedom and opportunities.
1.Chuche is the pillar supporting North Korea's Military Regime. It was created by Kim Il-Sung. It allows North korea's economic, social, political and military "policies" to work as "independently" as needed, meaning North Korea can do what it needs to be the All North Korean Nation, and fufill all nationalism in the hearts of all the north korean citizens and leader Kim Il-sung. The chuche ideology dosent define the process of how North Korea with politicaly defend and sustain itself but only decribes it power as "national defense with a strong offensive option." The chuhce has allowed north korea to stand with an impressive and unaided military stance against South Korea. Lastly the nationalism that lights up Kim Il-Sung will promise leadership to his oldest son Kim Chong-il as the nationalism lives on. Like Marxism and Leninism, sure, but Twisted into the north koreans minds that Extreame nationalism IS THE WAY, which is why the fascism in the North Korean society is smoke screend.
2.An Ideology like chuche is designed to put spirit into a military regime that would control the people without exactly being looked at as fascism or a dictatorship right away, but also it pesuades the people of north korea to take the military into their own hands and be even more supportive than a normal recuitive military.People then gain a higher level of honor for kim il-sung because the phenomeno has a name, and assures his son leadership.
3.The ideology in North Korea is different because we are "techniquely" allowed to do what we choose, but north korea is provided with what they are allowed.
1. Chuch’e is the modern-day Marxism, a “unitary ideology” that was created by Kim Il Sung since April 1974. It claims to be the answer to any nation’s “struggle for liberation” in becoming a classless society. “Chuch’e is designed to inspire national pride and identity and mold the national consciousness into a potentially powerful focus for internal solidarity centered on Kim and the KWP.” Combining the two definitions would make Chuch’e similar to Communism but for the good of one leader or group, Communism plus Dictatorship.
2. The purpose of this ideology seems to be for inspiring national pride and therefore, strengthening its economy but under one person’s “exclusive leadership”. It makes the population think that this ideology and everything the leader does has the moral high ground because it is for the bettering of their own lives. The population is empowered. The population is independent and self-sufficient. All that is done, harmful or beneficial will seem beneficial to the population because this promise is so ideal. Ulterior motives will be easily hidden using a positive slogan or name.
3. The United States, unlike North Korea, does not deny dependence on others. We are open to helping other countries and other countries helping us. There is no fear of “benefiting other countries”. The US doesn’t promote self-sufficiency for revolutionary either. Our government works with three branches instead of one leader and our society is capitalistic, not communism-like.

1.) Chuch'e is similar to Marxism and Leninism. It is to search guidance, truth, and wisdom. This ideology was created by Kim ll Sung. The ideology is guiding in the correct revolutionary movement. It is to reject dependence and be more independent.
2.)I think the purpose of this ideology is to destroy the society and create a place that only the greatness of the ones who have power are the best people. I see that it blinds what is really out there in the society and they want to have more pride of what they have then what is really inside or the meaning of what the society really is.
3.)In the US is different from North Korea because we are free and we don't base our ideas and opinions on the leaders of our society. We base our thinking on the things we see and what problems we have faced. We support our pride and society and we don't even follow our leaders. As for North Korea, everything is for the one leader, there isn't anything greater then the leader. There was no greater support and pride.

1. Chuche was created by Kim II Sung and is based on Marxism and Leninism. It promotes nationalism. Nationalism guides the country and is taught through discipline. Chuche focuses on internal solidarity for Kim and the KWP. It is suppose to be in a class of its own but it is like a dictator controlling the country in a less noticeable form.
2. The purpose of this ideology is to control the people and make sure that no one will go against the government. This affects the population because they don't have a choice in what they believe in or want to believe; they do what their government is telling them to do.
3. This ideology is like the opposite of the U.S. North Koreans don't get much of a choice but Americans have more options in what they want to do in life. There's only one party in North Korea and someone else can't be his successor until he dies where the U.S. elect a president every 4 years and one president can only serve for 2 terms.

Chuche, founded by Kim II Sung Chuui, is an ideology based on Marxism and Leninism. Known as the 'unitarian ideology' it is very communist based and emphasizes self-reliance, sacrifice, austerity, unity, dedication, and patriotism.
An ideology like Chuche is like propaganda. It's purpose is to brainwash people into thinking something that may not true. They have made people begin thinking that they are working hard for the nation as a whole when really they are just working for the government and not receiving their rewards.
In North Korea, the society follows a very strict way of life. This is made by their leader Kim ll Sung who is not questioned by any of his land about the propaganda he displays. While in the US people have much more freedom and are not controlled by the goverment. The goverment does create laws we are to abide by but, they are brokedn everday.
1. This ideology was created by Kim Sung. Chunce is very similar to Marxism. One thing that makes it unique is that the fact it all about promoting national pride on one leader. But also seems like focusing on independence
2. To me it seems like the purpose of the ideology is to keep national pride to an all time high. I think this because the country will be following a leader that can be easily compared as zeus of some sort. Flawless and perfect.
3. I think it is pretty funny. In the Unnited thats the presidents populairty varies amongest the population. In the unites states we are allowed to speak as badly as we want about our leader. In north korea the leader is well loved and no one really seems to have objections to his rulings.

1) The Chuch’e ideology was created by Kim Il Sung. It is based on the Marxism but in this ideology the own nation is very important and the country should be independent from other countries because of its own strength. The country is ruled by a leader who is supported by the only one party.
2) In this ideology I think the purpose is to let the people think that their country is very powerful because of the leader. This saves the power of the rulers and makes the population blind. We could also see in the comic how the government tries to let the people think that their president is very popular and powerful because of all the presents he should have gotten.
3) In North Korea there is only one real opinion. There is only one party and so there is no opposition and there are also no news who can criticize the president because all newspapers and the TV are controlled by the government. In the USA there everyone can have his own opinion and inform him-self independently by reading different newspapers or watching news on different channels. Here are also other parties which are against the president and his politics and so the president can’t do whatever he wants.

1) “Chuche” is a communist ideology that is though to be the present day form of MarxismLeninism. It is considered to be a unitary ideology or “the monolithic ideology of the Party” which means it is a piece of the Kim II Sung-ism. Chuche is the unity within a country and its independence from foreign countries through the instilment of pride within the country. Chuche was created by Kim II Sung, to him it means that a country relies on itself to prosper on its own and it’s about having a revolution to obtain this independence.
2) The purpose of this ideology is for the country to have a revolution so they can prosper on their own so they can have a country where they rule. Its purpose is to also create a communist country which means that everyone will be equal where there are no social classes and because they don’t want this is the reason for the revolution, to get rid of the outside countries with power.
3) The ideology of North Korea is different from that of the U.S. because in the U.S. there are many different ideologies and everyone doesn’t agree on one. In the U.S. everyone expresses their own ideology and they fight for what they think is truly right. Here we come up with our own ideas. But unlike the U.S., everyone there believes in the ideology that Kim II Sung created because his ideology is, “the only one that is right.” In North Korea their ideology is not not only based on what they think nor what their leader thinks but instead, it is exactly what their leader thinks.
1) Chuche is built from Marxism and Leninism idealogy and is what makes North Korea. It strongly believes in the country being independent and self-reliant and that the citizens must be loyal to it as well as make sacrifices and work for the country.
2) I think the purpose is to make the people feel equal. That the people are not working for their self-gain and riches but to support their and help the advancement of their country. So if one man struggles or suffers, then the country suffers which means EVERYONE suffers.
3) it is very different because in the United States, its like survival of the fittest. You have to work, not for the country but so you can live a happy life and make tons of money. You don't work because someone tells you to, but truly only for yourself. In the United States we have the freedom to do that.

1.CHUCH'E IS AN IDEOLOGY, A WAY OF THINKING, THOUGHT AND BELIEF SYSTEM THAT WAS CREATED TO "BUILD NATIONAL PRIDE AND MOLD NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS INTO A POTENTIALLY POWERFUL FOCUS FOR INTERNAL SOLIDARITY CENTERED ON KIM." THIS IDEALISM IS SIMILAR TO MARXISM AND LENINISM. AND AS YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THE QUOTE THAT I CHOSE, THE CREATOR OF CHUCH'E IS KIM ii SUNG CHUUI. WHO, TO ME, SEEMS LIKE A TOTALITARIANIST KIND OF LEADER.
2.I THINK THAT THIS IDEOLOGY IS ANOTHER WAY OF CONTROLLING A GROUP OF PEOPLE. I DONT AGREE WITH THE CHUCH'E SYSTEM BECAUSE I FEEL THAT NO ONE SHOULD FEEL LIKE THAT THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT THAT A WHOLE COUNTRY'S MORAL BELIEFS, THOUGHTS, AND IDEAS SHOULD REVOLVE AROUND ONE PERSON. ACCORDING TO THE TEXT, WHICH I ALSO AGREE WITH, CHUCH'E IS THOUGHT OF AS "THE PRESENT-DAY MARXISMLENINSM" MEANING CHUCH'E MUST BE A TYPE OF GOVERNMENT THAT IS RELATED TO COMMUNISM AND I DONT AGREE WITH THE WAY THIS PARTY GOVERNS A COUNTRY. I AM ALL FOR CAPITALISM BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF EARNING WHAT YOU WORK FOR, WHEREAS, UNDER A COMMUNIST RULING, NO ONE CAN BE IN A HIGHER POSITION BECAUSE EVERYONE IS "EQUAL" UNLESS YOU ARE THE RULER. I THINK THAT THIS AFFECTS A COUNTRY IN MANY WAYS. I THINK ALL CHUCH'E IS GOOD FOR IS INSTILLING FEAR INTO THE PEOPLE.
3.THE IDEOLOGY OF NORTH KOREA IS MUCH MORE DIFFERENT THAN THE UNITED STATES BECAUSE IN NORTH KOREA THEY SEE THEIR LEADER KIM AS A GOD(METEPHORICALLY SPEAKING) AND THEY THINK THAT NO ONE IS BETTER OR KNOWS MORE THAN HE DOES WHEREAS IN THE UNITED STATES NO ONE LOOKS AT BUSH THAT WAY AND ALL THE DECISIONS THAT ARE MADE IS NOT ALL MADE BY HIM. 1. Chuch'e is the "unitary ideology" of North Korea. However, the massive belief in this system is not because it is the choice of the people, but because it is the only ideology deemed by the North Korean government as "correct". Chuch'e, also known as Kim Il Sung Chuui, or Kim Il Sung-ism, which has been referred to as the modern day Marxism/Leninism, was formed when Kim Il Sung wanted the people to embrace national pride in their "revolution" and focus all attention on their own country, rather than helping other countries benefit. The idea was to get North Korea to become self-dependent, eliminating the necessity for deals with external countries.
2. The enforcement of such an ideology creates a society where not much is questioned and one becomes overly conscious of the many other countries in the world that they begin to hold their own country up to an imagined standard. When held in this standard, citizens are susceptible to various propaganda that promises to keep the country safe, independent, and free of ties to outside countries.
3. North Korea and the US are polar opposites in the way that the US, although considered a superpower, is very relient on outside sources. Whether for self-benefit, or to try and "reform" other countries, whether the country wants it or not, the US is always keen to step in on outer affairs. North Korea however is different as it feels the less dependency and less interaction with outside countries, the better.

"Chuch'e ideology is the basic cornerstone of party construction, party works, and government operations." thats what it says in the first line of that reading. Its basically the way North Korea is ran. and its really weird. its almost communist, but they presently call it "MarxismLeninism."
Sounds alot like communism to me. Do this, FOR YOUR COUNTRY, do that, FOR YOUR COUNTRY. Very indoctrinated, very proud, very for your country- what do you call that? and it works just the way it should. Everyone wants to be the best they can be for their country, and idk if its out of fear, or respect, but kim is getting what he wants.
In hella ways. They follow the word of one man, and if he were a god. We follow the word of one man unwillingly, cause he is a monkey The US is almost TOTALLY free, and North Korea, is most definitely not. Here in america, millions of people have American Dreams, but in Korea, they all go by the Chuch'e dream.

1) Chuche is an ideology and the base of how parties in the Korean Government are organized and controlled. Similar to Marxism and Leninism, Chuche was created by Kim II Sung.
2) I think the purpose of Chuche was to give the government complete power to be able to make the decisions of the country and to convence the people that their suffering was for the greater good of the country.
3) In the U.S. we have multiple parties in our government system to ensure the equality within our country. In North Korea they believe that their leader Kim II Sung's opinions and ideas are greater than anyone elses, and they base the decisions of the country on Sung's bias opinion of what the Korean Government should be.

Chuche is a ideology that is sancified as the essence of what has been officeally called Kim II Sung Chuui since April 1974. Its like the marxism Leninism. It was proclaimed in December 1955 when Kim underlined the critical need for a Koreac-centered revolution rather than one design to benefit, in his words, "another country".Its different in many ways from the us they go about things different then we do like this article for example.
1. Chuche is an ideology based off of marxism and leninism. Created by Kim II Sung and in North Korea it is referred to as "the unitary ideology" and is also the cornerstone of party construction, party works, and government operations.
2. I think its kind of unfair and kind of lets those who have power outshine those who are less fortunate and less important. Mostly I think its a dictatorship and its main purpose is just to manipulate people of society to believe whatever they want them to believe.
3. North Korea is way more strict and specific with what they want and how they want and if its not done their way you'll have to face the consequences. In the U.S. our government is ran by some monkey named George Bush but we have more freedom then they do in SOuth Korea and also we have set laws for us to follow and abide by.

1)Chuche ideology is similar to Marxism and Leninism. It is focused on unity and that everyone is equal, or in other terms communism. It was created by their leader Kim II Sung who is said that gave countless speeches to emphasize oh the topic of being equal. It demanded for discipline and dedication. Kim defined it as one person using their own power and strength to display the sprit of a revolution.
2)I think it just there to have the idea of equality and the hope of using ones power to make a difference. It plants the idea in peoples heads that this is a leader who we can follow. They are to believe that they are using their own power to change their government. I also think it is mostly for to get people to the leaders side because its like “oh he said we can us our own power and we will be equal so lets follow him” and they don’t realize what the leader is doing. He makes it look like they are the best and that their ideas are superior. With that they think that nothing that this guy is doing is wrong or that he is right.
3)North Korea’s ideology is more like oh were better so you don’t have to worry and let us handle everything. And the US is more of like if their something wrong you have the freedom to protest what you think is wrong. I don’t even think that Korea has the choice of freely protesting. Korea is also more like oh look at us everyone in the world thinks where great. US doesn’t have that big idea of equality but I think our people are happier.

1. Chuche is the modern day version of Marxism and Leninism and is known as “the unitary idelogy” and/or “the monolithic ideology of the Party.” Chuche’s ideology is the foundation of the government and its construction in the party to help rule. It was said that this ideology was created by the leader, Kim Il Sung, as an original “encyclopedic thought which provides a complete answer to any question that arises in the struggle for national liberation and class emancipation, in the building of socialism and communism.”
2. I think the purpose of such an ideology is to honor the one and only leader. It’s like the time period with kings and queens (without the rebellion from peasants) because you have to honor them because they are in power. It’s more or less promoting one’s greatness because he is ruling.
3. The ideology of North Korea is different from that of the US because in North Korea you are told what to do by the one leader that is in charge while in the US we have the freedom to do what we wanted as long as you take the consequences.

1)Chuche is a system which is the basis for North Korean government created by Kim ll Sung. It is based on the Marxism and Leninism which was clearly taken fro the Soviet Union. It is also referred to as the "Unitarian Ideology" which emphasizes self sacrifice for the greater good, as in one suffers for many rather than many suffers for one.
2)Chuche is a form of propaganda or n idea which shapes their society and encourages nationalism, patriotism, and selflessness. This ideology originated in the Soviet Union were they also supported the beliefs mentioned above as these communist ideals originated in the Soviet Union.
3)In North Korea the society there praises their leader, treats him like a god and generally aren't individualistic. In America we are very individualistic and believe that our own beliefs are just as important as our leaders in fact our opinions are generally well voiced in the government. Unlike North Korea where Kim ll Sung's opinions are the only right ones and that only his ideas matter more than any one elses.
1- Chuche is a type of Gov't that was created by Kim II Sung Chuui. It is basicaly a modefied version of MarxismLeninism. It is basicaly a communist type of gov't that Kim thought that would work best. The North Korean leaders think that this is the only gov't that can be affective in their revolutianary movement. It puts communism and Kims thoughts together to make "the present-day MarxismLeninism".
2- I think the purpose of this ideology is to have everyone see what the gov't wants them to see. So the people dont really see what is happening throughout the world and only see a part of the story. Basicaly this Gov't keeps evryone from the whole truth of what is happening and what their leader is really doing. So when they see other countries they think that they would be better off if they had a Gov't that they had. It makes the people believe what ever their leader says and naive to what is really happening.
3- Its not much different from what I see. Both Countries dont give out the whole truth from what is going on. All though in the US we vote on our next president while in North Korea they dont. We have more rights than the people that are over there. We might live in some complete different countries with different beliefes but we are all humans and were going to end up doing the exact same thing as one another.

1.Chuche is an ideology that is like marxism and leninism. The idealism is just like communism because it's people were supposed to be faithful to their country. That they're supposed to be devoted to their leader and country. It is the " unitarian ideology" that keeps them shelter to not question how their country is ran. So that there is little influence to change the ideology.
2. That sort of ideology sends people to exile because if you don't conform then you don't belong. Many people leave because that is their form of resistence. They have another way of thinking and it forces them to find another place to live freely. They want to be liberated so many times there is a revolution.
3. In North Korea it is the belief that no one is greater than their leader and that their ruling is right. In the U.S. we have the right to freedom of speach. Most of the people don't even agree with the president but still live here. that's how we differe. The freedom to have our own beliefes.

1.) Chuche is an ideology that everyone is independent. There is no dependence on other people and you must use your own power and strength to achieve your goal. This all leads to self-reliance. Chuche is a modern day ideology similar to Marxism and Leninism. This ideology was created by Kim II Sung Chuui.
2.) I think the purpose of this ideology is to inspire and satisfy workers (mainly those who work in party construction, party works and government operations) to develop national pride and identity. Its goal was to create a sufficient economy which relies on itself rather than other countries. This affects the population of a country because people will then work hard for the nation rather than for their own benefits because of national pride. This helps the country out because people become dedicated workers for the nation.
3.) The ideology of North Korea is different than the US because in North Korea there is one ruler who creates an ideology for everyone to follow, Chuche. This idea is made based on one person that tries to satisfy everyone. But in the US people have many ideas and views. If the laws were based on one person’s ideas there would be protests. The ideology of the US is to create a system where other’s ideas are accepted and it’s not based on one person’s views.

1. Chuche is hat was described as "present-day MarxismLeninism" in the chapter which just gives you a general sense of communism. It differs in the way that the people who live by it are independent yet are all working for the country. There was a sense of relying on ones self for one's own needs, but using your strengths for the country.
2. I think that this kind of government creates a society where the people sort of "do their own thing" but united in the efforts of the country. It is not so extreme as the government owning everything or the opposite where there is nothing but private property. It give the people just enough "privacy" while the government can still be in control.
3. In North Korea there is that just general sense that Kim II Sung is like the "almighty god of everything" and can do no wrong. People love him because they fear him. Maybe to the point that no one even knows what it is to go against him. Here in the USA the perspective is totally different. People don't fear the president, so they have no problem speaking out against him. Thankfully we are given the right to say what ever we want about who we want. Without fear of being killed.

1) Chuche is a communist idealogy simular to Marxism and Leninism created by Kim Il Sung. Chuche allows for one person to control others in a way that increaces ecconomy, patriotism and power.
2)The purpose this type of govenment is to get the people dedicated and patriotic so that the ruler can do what ever they want with support. It allows the ruler to manipulate their people to think want to help them when they really hide the truth and allow the loyal people to work hard for the government
3) North Korea put their trust in Kim Il Sung to govern their country and promotes working together for the good of the country. In the U.S. peoople usually work alone for their own personal benifit, wheras in North Korea work together to increase their ecconomy. We also allow people to have their own ideas abot the governmnet and our leaders when North Korea discourages it and believes that only Kim Il Sung is the only leader.
1. Chuche is very similar to Marxism and Leninism due to those two beliefs seeming to be the core foundations of the Chuche belief. This ideology was created by Kim ll Sung and made into a very communistic-like to where everyone is equal, no one less and hence forth no competition. Everyone helps each other when needed and the whole idea is called to be a 'unitarian ideology'. The key words emphasized with this belief is self-reliance, unity, and dedication as would any communist ideas.
2.This kind of government doesn't affect its people well. Mainly, it places the power in the hands of the government taking everything away from its people, where then they are just told what to do and must follow it because of everyone being equal. If anyone starts to get suspicious and steps out of line, they most likely get taken away till they are ready to be put back after some possible reconditioning. The purpose of the ideology is just to confuse and control the people through higher power with no worries of them getting a chance to get up top.
3. The people of North Korea believe in Kim ll Sung's words and believe that he will lead them to happiness. They believe him to be supreme to everyone else and that he can be the only one to lead them. Here in the U.S. Though things are different with power given to the people and us being allowed to choose where we want to be and who we want to be. Everyone gets to decide where they stand and how they choose to stand. We don't just follow one way. We believe everyone has a say where in North Korea only the leader can say what we want which is actually what Kim ll Sung wants and everyone believes in him so much that they want it to.

1.Chuche is a idealism that is like Marxism and communists beliefs. its the ideology used in North Korea to get the public to follow what the government asks from them. it has to do a lot with sacrificing yourself for the good of the country, independence,(but not from the government)and to be united.
2.I think it is much like the same ideology that other Communist country's such as Russia when they were all crazy. i think it effects how the public sees the government and their lives in general, they have to put the country before them in all cases. this ultimately blinds the public from the truth in order to promote the government.
3.The ideology of the US and North Korea are much different, for one the US isn't as upfront and hands on with showing you how great the government is over you, the US is much more open to however random people want to do in life. Another difference between the two country's is the publics voice and opinions about the higher powers, im sure there are not tshirts like "FUCK BUSH" in North Korea.
1) Chuche is an ideology that is a mixture of Marxism and Leninism. Chuchewas created by Kim IL Sung Chuui. It promotes self-reliance, isolation, sacrifice, unity, patriotism, strictness and alertness. Chuche also pushed for the reliance on domestic resources and to reduce the external influence and challenges.
2) I think the purpose of Chuche was to develop an overwhelming sense of pride for North Korea. Then when the government asks the people to do something they do it because they have such a strong belief. Also, the people wouldn’t have any other ideas that would challenge Chuche because all external forces were kept out, so the only perspective they got was the one the government provided. Because of that the population is then easily taken advantage of.
3) In North Korea they have a sacrificial and patriotic personality. Where the people will do anything for the government or for the president because it’s for the greater good of the country. Also, the people do not or cannot challenge authority. Also, North Korea is more closed off, and tries to avoid external influence. The U.S on the other hands what to come in contact with as many people as possible. In the U.S the people tend to be more segregated and more “me” based, until something drastic happens, then everyone becomes sacrificial and patriotic. And, in the U.S people enjoy and have the ability to challenge authority.
The comment above is mine. ^^;;
1. Chuch’e is the ideology that Kim Il Sung Chuui adapted and has been used as the guidance for North Korea’s progress. It is supposedly the answer to everything and was created with a complete answer to everything that may arise in a struggle towards socialisim and communisim. It was implemented to give North Korean’s a sense of identity and national pride to mold that into something that would help give Kim and the KWP power.
2. I think such ideologies are good because they give the people something to fight for and something to believe in, but can be used as a tool by the ruling class to mold the people and the country into something they see fit. Even though it is essential for the population to maintain a sense of identity and national pride, after a certain point that can be interpreted into “these are the rulers, they are the country, disobey them and you disobey your country”.
3. I think it’s different because the ideology of the United States was one that was meant to be self evident but actually needed (and still needs) some clarification to this day. With Chuch’e having a solid foundation in the people with little room for breathing, it allowed there to be a movement which was controlled yet still seemed to cause some change in the country. The same can be said about the US where the movement caused some change but it was still controlled, but still we do have the ability to change our government/our surroundings as the population sees fit.

1)The term "chuche" is used by North Koreans to mean national identity, self-reliance, and/or national pride. Presidnet Kim Il-song created this ideology as a counterpart to the Marxist-Leninist ideology of communism.
2) I think the purpose of this ideaology is to instill a sense of worth adn that thier suffereing is not for nothing. That because they suffer they shall reap the rewards of such suffering later on.
3)In the US everyone is seen to have the ability to create thier own worth and they should not constantly rely on other people to give them such worth. In North Korea it is more of since the whole population suffers and will be rewarded than I should not try to give myself a sense of worth when it would just be given to me down the line.
1) Chuche was an ideology invented by Kim Il Sung and the KWP to distance Korea from the USSR and China. Initially claiming links to Marxism-Leninism, Chuch'e was invented in the mid 50's to serve as a Korean inspired model for Revolution. While initially existing as a branch of Marxism with Korean-Nationalist overtones, Chuch'e has involved into a tool that serves only to propagate the cult of Personality maintained by Kim Il Sung and his son Kim Jong Il.
2. Ideologies like this serve only to propagate ignorance and further the goals of their leaders. Claiming a hyped form of nationalism is "the only scientific revolutionary thought representing our era" serves only to oppress the minds and spirits of the people who must learn it. By hijacking the logical political theory presented by Marx and Lenin and turning it into a tool that only maintains totalitarianism Chuch'e does little more to justify the stranglehold that North Koreas dictators have maintained on their people since the end of the Korean War.
3. Since the flow of culture is strictly controlled by NK's dictatorial government it's difficult to say anything about North Korean peoples Ideology but I can examine the one the government shows off. The US tends to shy away from cults of personality and NK has maintained one for the Past half century. The idea of any sort of unification in the United States has never been entertained yet Korea seems to try to do this by force. Freedom of choice is a major part of American Ideology but adherence to strict leaders and rules seems predominant in NK. The belief in the need for expression is one that has taken hold in the US but seems farthest from the minds of the NK government.
Church’s is a type of doctrum or government that bas based off of Marxism. Kim II Sung invented it.
The purpose of this government is to make him the ruler so that he will have absolute control forever and so that it would be able to self sustain its self and not rely on other countries imports.
The U.S. government is a democracy ruled by three branches of government. We ultimately choose how we want to live. The North Korean Government is a dictatorship that controls its people by one person. Also the North Korean Government is not reliant on other countries like the U.S. is.
Chunche is a word that was made from the ideology of Kim II Sung. it is similar to marxism and leninism.
the purpose of this ideology is to be like the greater powers to the west like russia and the united states. the problem was that this did not really help the society to much. it just gave more power to the government and less to the people.
the difference from the united states ideology and the ideology that north Korea used is different because the Koreans don't have as much freedom of the united states citzens.

1.Chuche is an ideology government type. It is also known to have been mix in with Marxism type of government ruling as well. The North Korea’s government believed that this ideology was their ongoing revolutionary movement. It was created by Kim 2 Sung Chuui on April 1974. Chuche is also known as “the unitary ideology” or as “the monolithic ideology of the party”. Chuche also had been said that it was created to answer the entire question to the nation’s struggles for national liberation and class emancipation.
2.I think the purpose of this ideology was to keep people from making their own choices. So that who ever is in power, will have all the power and there wouldn’t be any issue when the leader want to do something or make a move. Also of the fact that it will keep people from knowing what is really going on with their government. This can affect the population of the country by not knowing what is going on. Also I think the people will just end up having more pride in their country’s actions and not fully understand the reasons.
3.North Korea’s ideology is so different compare to the US. In North Korea the people has to take pride in their leader, they can not disagree with the leader. The people in North Korea has overall no “mind” because all they have to do is listen and follow whatever the leader do, kind of like the game “see what monkey do, do what monkey do”. In US, the people have the choice to disagree with the leader, or agree with the leader. The people also are able to vote for what they want. Most of the people don’t even take pride with our leader right now, and we are also able to vote for the next leader. There is more freedom in US then there is in North Korea.

1.Chuche’s ideology is similar to Marxism and Leninism. It is focused on unity and the quality of everyone. It was created by the ex leader of North Korea also know as Kim II Sung. He gave countless speeches trying to emphasize how everyone should be equal. The main thing about Chuche is it demanded discipline and dedication. He defined t as one person using his or her own power and strength to display the spirit of revolution.
2.I think it’s just an idea of equality and using ones own power to make the idea of equality in the world possible. It gives a false positive sense in the leader. He tries to make it look like he is the best and everything he preaches and teaches to his people is correct. By doing this there is nothing that he or his people can do wrong.
3.North Korea’s ideology is more like screw the rest of the world and we don’t care of what people think of. The USA policy is more like let people have freedom to say write and preach what they believe. The irony in both North Korea and the USA is that although the USA doesn’t believe everyone to be equal economically it seems like the people in our country are a lot happier than he people in North Korea.
1. Chuche is an ideology whose ultimate goal is to form a communist society. Chuche accomplishes its goal by uniting people of society to strive for such a society. It does this by evoking “national pride, identity and consciousness” and the idea that “no difficulty is insurmountable”. Chuche was enunciated by Kim II Sung, in 1955. Chuche was used in North Korea by Kim for the building of socialism and communism, through the struggle for national liberation and class emancipation.
2. Chuche’s purpose is to form a socialist and communist government. Chuche plays
In my view a socialist and communist government focuses too much on balancing the socio-economic status of the population; so that it focuses more on balancing the populace than in reality advancing it. This ideology diminishes the cultural and economic exchange of North Korea’s people with other countries. In Chuche’s attempt for a social and communist government, through pride, and independence, it has a very strong tendency to decelerate its society from progression.
3. The US has a free-trade market economy; being open to economic and cultural exchange. This has helped the US’s to succeed in economic profit, which in turn, has helped the US progress. North Korea’s ideology has helped the populace progress more unanimously, but slower; for they are not open to a free-trade market economy. A free-trade market economy gives possibilities in cheaper production, which can give them a greater profit; leading to faster progression. While North Korea’s ideology towards “national pride, identity, and consciousness” as well as towards “no difficulty is insurmountable” may have left their people with a more positive attitude towards they’re country; it severed them from progressive linked ties, and left the country to grow on its own production.

*sorry this is so late. I did it on paper. But you said I should post it.
1. "Chuche" is a communist ideology that was created by Kim II Sung. It is supposed to make a country independent and self-sufficient. Kim II Sung designed to it to inspire the people to be proud of their country and to do things for it. That way it could be internally strong and it wouldn't rely on other countries for support.
2. The purpose of an ideology is to unite the citizens of a country and to make it so that they all agree. That was it's easier to control them. It makes them more obedient and more blindly loyal to the country. Thus, making the job of the leader/dictator a lot easier.
3. The US is not self-sufficient. Our economy completely rely on the imports from and exports to other countries. Our country i divided in the way that it thinks. We aren't as easy to control because there isn't a clear majority that all agree with each other. We also have a capitalist ideology of "Every man for himself" instead of every man for his country or for the good of the people. Korea is pretty much the opposite of the US because it's communist and the majority of people think the same things and have similar beliefs. They work for the good of the country instead of for personal gain.
